Deal or no Deal?
Seems a delay in Opening Day is now for sure as the stalemate between owners and players in Baseball continues.
According to ESPN, "There are several macro reasons this hasn't gotten done -- the players' deep-seated mistrust of ownership, a desire to make significant gains on a Collective Bargaining Agreement that was gamed by savvy front offices, a nationwide penchant by corporate billionaires to maximize profits no matter the blowback -- but here's a micro one: At the onset of negotiations, owners expressed a willingness to reallocate the money that goes to players but not to increase it. In other words, the pie could change but not grow any larger."
Fox News reports recently that the players are not happy, but surprisingly there is little coverage in this news outlook.

My solution? Fans go support the local school players, whether high school or college. They need your support more now than ever.
My thoughts go out to the fans who had secured opening day tickets. And more importantly, the workers who depend on income from the games like food concessionaires and parking staff.
