Yes, volunteers are always needed for parks and recreation since competing needs of tax dollars cause governments (that is us) to cut back on "funding for fun."

More and more dog parks are appearing on the landscape as humans realize that dogs need parks as much as people.  Find your local park by visiting this site.

Westfield Dog Bark coming soon

Westfield Dog Bark becoming a reality. Yes, that is the way we spell it. The City Parks and Recreation Commision gave us permission to lease the property known as Arm Brook as seen in this image from the City's GIS. We scouted out the park area this morning and will meet at the University on Wednesday to do some more serious planning.

We need more dog parks

Biscuit is our dog and she is a great companion. She always give unconditional love, is generally well behaved and is a great lap dog. What more could you ask for?
