A piecemeal attack to close the gaps on the Appalachian Trail, meant I had to hike section over long weekends. To finish Pennsylvania, that meant I needed to hike between Duncannon and Pine Grove Furnace State Park.
My hiking companion was Rick and here are some pictures shot on 17-19 May 1975. As typical i PA, the trail was rocky.
Darlington LT was pretty bad, so we camped out nearby.
Rick had to leave in Churchtown, PA, so I continued south to camp out near Little Dogwood Run.
