2019 Southeastern Recreation Research Conference

For Abstracts
Greetings!
Abstracts for oral and
poster presentations for the upcoming 2019 SERR Conference are now being
sought. Presentations should be of an empirical, conceptual, or theoretical nature
related to the following topics:
- Leisure and Recreation Behavior
- Management of Leisure Programs and Services
- Methodological Aspects of Recreation Research
- Nature-based Travel and Tourism
- Outdoor Recreation and Education
- Park and Protected Area Planning and Management
- Parks, Physical Activity and Health
- Recreation Economics or Policy
Graduate and
undergraduate students, faculty, agency planners, land managers, and
researchers are all strongly encouraged to attend the conference and submit a
proposal for an oral or poster presentation. Oral presentations will be given
in a conference room setting. Audiovisual support will be available in the form
of a laptop (with a CD-ROM drive and a USB port) and a projection unit. Each
oral presenter will be given 15 minutes for presenting their paper and 5
minutes for discussion. Authors presenting planned (i.e., proposals) or
uncompleted research may be asked to make their presentations in the form of a
poster.
Submission abstracts are
limited to 3,000 characters (500 words), additional information needed
includes: project title, list of authors, contact information for presenting
author. All presenters are expected to register for the conference.
The submission link will
close on January 11, 2019. No
submissions will be accepted after this date.
