Fall Foliage Tourism

While checking out the color in the Berkshires, how about some breakfast? Besides getting some really good maple syrup, in the fall Halloween welcomes you to your meal.

A great combo, Fall Foliage, Maple Syrup Breakfast, and Halloween.

Maple Sugaring Season starts soon

With over two feet of snow still on the ground and snow falling out of the air tonight, it might not feel like sugar season. But as day time temps get into the 40s and nights below freezing, we might be in for a fine crop of maple syrup. If you are somewhere in North America where this takes place, check out your local shack.

High Hopes Farm in Worthington, MA is our favorite. Check them out:

We are partial to GRADE B or COOKING GRADE - darker color and stronger flavor that comes through when cooking or flavoring with. Yum Yum.

Fall Foliage Colours

It is that time of the year when we get the leaf peepers visiting our local forests. Our long weekend is planned out with a trip to the Paradise City Arts and Craft Show (http://www.paradisecityarts.com/) today and tomorrow we are heading to Worthington to visit a Sugar Shack for breakfast and maple syrup (http://highhopesmaple.com/).

yeah, I know it is not maple sugaring season, but what better reason to take a road trip and see the beautiful colors in our Berkshires.

If you are in the States see the Forest Service website for fall foliage (http://www.fs.fed.us/news/fallcolors/)
