Election 2020

Everyone is watching the US right now.

so let's take a look at the view in the UK and the Guardian with this headline:

US election polls tracker: who is leading in swing states, Trump or Biden?

With the presidential election just days away, the Guardian is tracking the latest polling in eight states that could decide the election.

Ohio and Iowa are leaning toward the red, while all the other swing states favor the Blue.

The BBC shares a similar cautionary view

Biden leading national presidential polls

John Lennon's Birthday

"If someone thinks that peace and love are just a cliche that must have been left behind in the '60s, that's a problem.  Peace and love are eternal."

- John Lennon (1940-1980)

Good bye 2014

I don't know if I will get to post something tomorrow on New Year's Eve, so I figured let's do it now.  It has gotten colder today after a spell of really nice weather and except for s few piles of snow in parking lots, none of that white stuff here.

So Happy New Year and hope for Peace!

Peaceful Stanley Park, Westfield, MA

I find a lot of pleasure in our local Stanley Park. And the remarkable thing about it is that it is a private park, open to the public free of charge. It puts the local public parks to shame, but we can be thankful that it is here!

I often walk my dog in the back woods area, called the Frank Stanley Beverage Wildlife Sanctuary. It is very peaceful.

And sometimes, like when I shot this picture, all you hear is the rustle of leaves and birds chirping. No automobile noises, no bombers from the local air base, and no lawnmowers, blowers or chain saws. ahhhhhh.

Peace

An eye for an eye makes the whole Earth blind. May you all have a peaceful Solstice.
