Whole-Body Scans at Airports? For or Against

So, what's your take on the whole-body scans at Airports. Some folks say it is a necessary element to ensure travellers are not smuggling anything on the plane. Others say it is an unnecessary intrusion on our privacy since your naked body will be displayed.

What is your take on the subject? Not sure what it means? Visit www.tsa.gov/travelers for more information.

  1. I am for this because I feel I have nothing to hide. As Long as the only person seeing the scan is the airport's security than go for it. I would be at more ease traveling knowing that there is that mush lease of a chance that someone would not be blowing up the plane.

  2. I think full body scans are necesary at airports because it is for everybodys well being. i think it is worth a small invasion of privacy to save lives. Yes, one does have the right of personal space, but security officers also have the right to search for anything harmful or dangerous that could potentially harm other people

  3. I don't think full body scans are needed in airports, the security is tight enough. People need their privacy and the fact your naked body will be displayed is way to much privacy invasion.
